Hideaway Beach is located in Coco Cay, Bahamas. Now when visiting Coco Cay there are currently four “ways to chill” have fun and explore. Starting in January, 2024, Royal Caribbean will be adding another adventure to your ultimate Bahamian vacation. They are adding an adults-only exclusive beach. They currently have Coco Beach Club, Thrill Park, Oasis Lagoon, Chill Island and South Beach. The main difference with Hideaway Beach is it’s exclusively to adults only and as you see in the info graph below they are many extras and I’ll show you how to have some experiences included in your vacation.
The Hideaway Pool & Swim-up Bar
What more could you ask for, an amazing heated infinite pool with a swim-up bar? So during those colder months, January and February you will be able to still be comfortable in the pool.
The swim-up bar is similar to Perfect Day. Where there is a live DJ playing music giving you that live ocean-front play makers vibe. There will even be table games as well for those who want to soak up the sun and not be in the pool.
The Bites: Eat Between Eats
When soaking up the sun we know hunger starts to come. Do you go find a restaurant or do you head back to the ship? Not at Hideaway Beach! There are two restaurants on site that are complimentary. Yes, the food is included when you go to Hideaway Beach. The two eateries on site are Slide of Paradise and Snack Shack.
Slice of Paradise will be the first pizza joint placed off the ship. All the pizza, just like on the ship, is fresh and made to order. They will be providing menu options but with an island twist. So you will be able to grab a Bahamian Style Burger with Guava and BBQ Chicken Pizza or if you want grab a veggie pizza. You definitely won’t be disappointed.
If you’re not into pizza don’t worry we have something for you at the Snack Shack. This will be the third snack shack on the island. How amazing is that? Bringing some of our favorite foods off the ship and accessible and it’s complimentary. What better way to have an amazing vacation. So head on over to the Snack Shack and grab you burger with their secret sauce, chicken sandwiches, salads, funnel cakes and so much more.
Cabana Chronicles: Decoding Luxury – Comparing The Hideout and The Hideaway Cabana Styles
When I first heard and read about Hideaway Beach I couldn’t wait to hear more. After hearing about the two different styles of cabanas, I bet you will feel the same way. No matter what style of cabana you choose both have access to Hideaway Beach. So no pass needed. You can fit up to eight guests in your cabana and they do not all have to be from the same stateroom. Both cabanas come with an attendant, storage, resort style seating, charging outlets, floating beach mats and ceiling fan. We could have used that at Perfect Day. Take a look and compare.
When looking at your choices of cabanas, I would like to point out, with the Hideout Cabanas it does include your own private swimming area. As you can see the VIP luxury difference between the Hideout and the Hideaway Cabanas. With the Hideout Cabanas you will be right in front of the infinite pool with our live DJ. This area is going to be lively because of the location. Unlike with the Hideaway Cabanas they are further out so they tend to be a little quieter away from the vibe of the swim up bar.
